Moon Phases and Spell Timing Explained

Two of our practitioners, Tara and Agnes, work with lunar timing. When you submit a spell through them, the ritual is performed at a time that aligns with the moon's phase. This is not superstition. It is craft.

The moon has four primary phases that matter for spell work.

The new moon is the beginning. It is the phase of planting intentions, of new beginnings, of calling something in that does not yet exist in your life. Most attraction spells, new love spells, and abundance spells are best cast in the days just after the new moon.

The waxing phase runs from new moon to full moon, roughly two weeks of increasing light and energy. This is the phase for growth, increase, and drawing toward. If you want more of something (more love, more money, more connection), waxing moon is the timing.

The full moon is amplification. The energy is at its highest. Tara tends to use full moon timing for return work and for spells requiring significant force behind them. The full moon does not create things. It magnifies what is already moving.

The waning moon is the phase of releasing and clearing. Agnes uses waning moon timing for spells that require something to be removed: financial blockages, harmful influences, unhealthy habits.

When you submit a spell, we do not tell you to wait for a particular phase. We note the timing and cast when it is right. Sometimes that means same-day. Sometimes the ritual is held for a few days to align properly. Either way, you receive your spell letter when the work is complete.
